A neutral kinda day....

Looks like the brights, neons, and pastel hues are dying on me...I know, I know, who the hell am I?!?! I don't know, folks. You know when you're so focused to a particular direction 24/7, suddenly, snap! It doesn't seem so special/interesting anymore. You just I dare to say this? Well, bored. Yup,  I've said it out loud. I've just grown BORED and simply down right tired of painting brights on my nails. So I thought I would switch it up with a much more neutral shade. And of course, Case Study by Essie seems to be right.

A nude, muted brown shade that's perfect for my skin tone. Longetivity? Probably around 4 days with Essie polishes but I ain't complaining. I've gotten so many compliments on my nails, maybe I'll repaint them again when it chips off!

What's on your nails this week?

Currently Loving #2

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! I spent mine on a chaotic 8 year old's birthday surprise, experimented with various beauty products (hello lipgloss!), and worked on product descriptions (hint hint ;D). Anyway, here are 3 links which I've enjoyed reading through this week:

Since Halloween is right around the corner, these might be a great "costume" alternative if you're celebrating the occasion but yet you're just too damn lazy to be in a full get up. My favourite? Stewie from The Family Guy, of course!

What's better then a good old classic donut? Doughnut? I never know which is the appropriate spelling but my sweet tooth has been bugging me lately, and these past few weeks have been filled with devil's food and carrot cupcakes (thanks to my sister), and these look just as good and I cannot wait to try them out. Or you know, simply ask my sister to bake it because she's a baking enthusiast.

3. The Curse Of A Baby Face by Into The Gloss.
Of course I saved the best for last. This article could not be anymore accurate. This big old round face of mine has suffered the severe curse of a baby face. Thanks to being chubby, pudgy and what not, I can honestly relate to this write up 100%. All you baby face gals or guys, read this up! We're not alone lol.

If you can splurge on 1 high-end palette.......

Urban Decay's Vice 2 palette would be it. I don't know why it has taken me so long to talk about this palette. The packaging, the colours.....goodness the colours are amazing. If you're looking into shimmery brights and neutrals that you put into full use well gurl, you got yourself quite a catch. Seriously buttery and oh so pigmented, let's take a dive into this square grids of awesomeness....

Benefit - Benetint

This miniature Benetint has been in my makeup stash for months and I've finally busted it out and put it to the test! The packaging is nothing fancy. A classic nail varnish look-alike but only meant for the cheeks and lips. What peaked my interest is that it's suppose act as a blusher and also a lip stain. How crazy is that?

Currently Loving #1

Currently Loving is a new series on my blog where I'll be sharing various link which I love. Ranging from not only beauty, but also on food and home ideas/inspirations which I hope you will find it just as interesting as I do! Here are 3 links which I currently love:

1. How to master eyeliner by Lily Pebbles.
I love her blog. From her blogs, to beauty posts and tutorials, her tips and tricks are the best and I trust the reviews that she provides. Here she talks more about the different types of eyeliners and how to be a pro on it.

2.  You've Never Had Guac Like This Before — Seriously by Refinery29.
If you know me, you know that I love a little guac in my life. Well, not a little. More like A LOT. Just a quick recipe for you to try out during the weekend!

3. An Interior DIY in under five minutes: Framed Feathers by Chapter Friday.
This is such a simple yet brilliant idea to amp up your space without breaking the bank. Nothing fancy, which I really like.
